Mai Kuraki released her first single in October 1999 with Giza Studio when she was only 16 years old! Shortly afterwards, she released several more singles such as Love, Day After Tomorrow that were big hits. She gained quite a bit of popularity and also continued to study for college entrance exams. She passed her exams and was admitted to Richimeikan University. Around the same time, Kuraki also released her first album Delicious Way which sold over 400,000 copies! The following year, she released her second album and sold 2 million copies! To say the least, Mai-K has been super successful! She has also held a few nation-wide tours and is expecting to release another album fairly soon.Thoughts
I’ve been a big fan of Mai-K for quite a while. If you are looking for a good mix of pop and hip-hop then she’s your girl! Her songs are generally upbeat and extremely addicting :D Mai-K has a really nice high voice that goes along with her songs quite well. I don’t know how else to describe her. She’s just amazing :)akfgfan
