They originally started in 1994 as a black metal band called Mortes Saltantes. Obviously, most of the members are from Zombie Ritual fame, but Zombie Ritual formed much later than Mortes Saltantes and Magane. This band plays black metal heavily influenced by Japanese mythology and uses some traditional Japanese folk instruments.

Thoughts

Frequent guests of this site can probably guess that I’m not a fan of this band. I find them to be absolutely horrible. The drummer only seems to know one beat, and don’t get me started on the vocalist ^ ^! Only if you really enjoy boring, heavy metal do I suggest you check these guys out.
