LISA (Narita Elizabeth Sakura) was born on October 26th, 1974 to a Japanese father and Colombian mother. She was originally a vocalist for Ram Jam World, and more famously, part of the hip-hop trio, m-flo. After 4 successful years of being m-flo’s vocalist, she surprised fans and left the group in 2002 to pursue a solo career. She announced her leave with her second single, and released her debut album, "JUICY MUSIC", in 2003. Since then, she’s collaborated with artists like KODA KUMI, Heartsdales, and JHETT aka YAKKO for AQUARIUS.

Recently, LISA and m-flo have collaborated on a song,"TRIPOD BABY", and have been touring in late 2005. The former threesome had sometimes dubbed themselves "the tripod", so this song seems to bring back memories for old m-flo fans.

My Thoughts

LISA is quite a talented artist that has definitely broadened her horizons since she broke up with m-flo. Her music now contains mixes of pop, rock, and RnB. Its a great combination for her. In addition, she has a great voice too! You definitely need to check out LISA :D
