In the world of noise, KK.NULL is a near-legend. Known well for being both an artist as well as a pioneer in the Japanese loud music scene, the man named Kazuaki Kishino became one of Japan’s great innovators of the 80s and early 90s.It all began in the early 80s when NULL performed improvised electric guitar stints at clubs in Tokyo, wowing the public and catching the attention of Merzbow, yet another pioneer noise artist who NULL would collaborate with for the next few years.
In 1984 NULL joined the progressive rock band YBO2, while also starting up his own noise group called Absolut Null Punkt (A.N.P.). It is during this time that he earns the nickname of "guitar noise terrorist."
When NULL started up his own independent label, NUX ORGANIZATION, in 1985, he opened the doors to even more innovative artists, including MELT-BANANA. NULL’s subsequent "Dead Tech" LP, a compilation of many Japanese alternative bands, is considered wholly responsible for the Japanese alternative "boom" in the western world.
NULL is probably best known as the mastermind of the band Zeni Geva, heralded as a leader in the industrial movement in Japan. Since then, NULL hasn’t stopped working, continuously innovating and experimenting with new sounds. He has worked with many composers of similar minds, and to this date has over 100 titles released, cumulatively.

My Thoughts
I’m personally not a fan of noise music, so I was not very fond of KK.NULL. His songs are funky, repetitive and use a lot of everyday sounds. Overall though, his songs are just average to me.Click to read/add your opinion!
