Originally called Kinniku Shounen Shoujo Tai, Kinniku Shoujo Tai (often referred to as King-Show) was formed in 1982 by high school students Kenji Outsuki and Yuuchirou Uchida after the disbandment of their previous band, Dotechins. They were later joined by keyboardist Edozou Mishiba in 1986 and after 2 years with this line-up, they signed to the major label TOY’S FACTORY. The band then released their first album, "Buddha L", later that year.However, Edozou Mishiba left the band a few years later, in 1989 and guitarists Toshiaki Honjou and Fumihiko Kitsutaka joined. The band kept this line-up for 10 years and then disbanded in 1999. Kenji Outsuki went on to be in Tokusatsu and Fumihiko Kitsutaka went on to be in X.Y.Z.ĻA.
In 2006 it was announced that the band would reform with Kenji Outsuki, Yuuichirou Uchida, Toshiaki Honjou, and Fumihiko Kitsutaka. Since then, the band have once again proved popular and have toured extensively in Japan.

Thoughts
Kinniku Shoujo Tai is a rather good rock band, and I am glad that they decided to reform. Their music is filled with classic hard rock melodies and vocals that are sure to please many fans. I especially enjoy listening to Outsuki’s vocals. He puts a lot of emotion in his songs and is quite entertaining to listen to.Click to read/add your opinion!
