Kick the Can Crew, a three member group, first premiered in 2002 with "Vitalizer" and it was from this that they began to gain recognition. Many have attributed their success to the fact that they can incorporate both techno and the "Japanese Hip-Hop sound".Soon after Vitalizer, they began to release many albums and before they knew it, they had to release a "Best of" cd from 2001-03. It was a year later that they tried a new path by changing from their old style to a more rhythmic style.
When compared to American Artists, they are said to sound like the Beastie Boys. As of this writing, the three are trying their own solo projects.

Thoughts
As far as hip-hop/rnb groups go, Kick the Can Crew is far from great. Most of the vocals consist of rapping and the background music is very simplistic. I also can’t help feeling that their music lacks an essential theme or driving rhythm.Click to read/add your opinion!
