Kenzi Masubuchi has worked as a musician for a long period of time, but just recently began to create solo pieces. His musical career started in 1990, when he joined the band Scafull King. The band only began to become active near the end of their career, releasing 3 albums and 1 mini album. Unsatisfied with the reaction to their music, the band became inactive in 2001.Still wishing to become more successful as musicians, ex Scafull King members Kenzi, TGMX, and TDC came together to create Frontier Backyard. As the band started working on their music, Kenzi also began to work on his own music. By 2003, he had completed his first solo album titled "Tales of the Axxe Player". The album recieved great reviews from Oricon music critics.
Soon after the release of his solo album, Frontier Backyard was adopted by NIW Records. Releasing several works, Kenzi has been too busy to focus on his solo career.

Thoughts
Kenzi Masubuchi has a very laid back style. His guitar work is not overly insane, but rather works to support the melody of the song. He is a good musician, but nothing extroidinary.Click to read/add your opinion!
