
In 2001 Kaya formed electro band Rudolf Steiner with Hora, who had previously been in Velvet Eden. After two demo tapes, "Queen of Decadence" and "Perfect Garden", Rudolf Steiner were signed to label Midi:Nette, Mana (Moi dix Mois / ex-Malice Mizer) became their producer and their name was changed to Schwarz Stein. After two singles and two albums and numerous live date including dates at Takadanobaba Area with DespairsRay, Osaka Muse with Fatima and were the support act for Moi dix Mois 2002 tour in addition to playing one man lives. Schwarz Stein disbanded in 2004, but Kaya and Hora came back together to record a one off, self-titled mini-album under the name of Another Cell in 2006.
After that, Kaya launched his solo career in June of that year with a one man live at Takadanobaba Area and the release of his first solo single "Kaleidoscope", the music to which was written by Kalm (ex-Velvet Eden). Kaya released his second single "Masquerade" in September 2006 and followed this up with 6 live dates including Shibuya O-East, Nagoya ElectricLadyLand and Laforet Museum.
On December 27th Kaya released "Glitter", his first solo album for which Hora wrote the music to 3 songs, and played a live at Sangen Chaya HEAVENS Door the day after.
Kaya continues to tour and will play his next one man at Shibuya O-West in February.
