In 1998 he met Dada, ex E-Typ vocalist, and after becoming friends they decided to create a project together named "Velvet Eden" with Dada on vocals and Kalm supplying the music, electronic dark wave. With the release of two demo tapes, two full length albums, and one VHS tape with various PVs and live clips, Velvet Eden recieved a considerable amount of popularity. During lives their music was pre recorded and Kalm pretended to play an instrument or dance to one of Dadas coreographys.
In 2000 Kalm left Velvet Eden due to issues between the two members, leaving the band to take a drastic change.
After this, Kalm did little performing and eventually none. He has worked with a few artists by supplying music for their projects, and lately his most notable credits has been helping ex Schwarz Steins vocalist Kaya with his solo project.
