Janne da Arc is a five member rock band. The band was first formed in 1989 by Yasu, You, and Ka-yu; however, a few months later Ka-yu left the band. In 1991 Yasu and You teamed up with Kiyo and started formally going by the name Janne da Arc. Ka-yu and Shuji teamed up with the band in 1992. They performed most Indies music till 1999 and were only releasing demo tapes. In 1999 Janne da Arc started commercially releasing singles. Their first album, D.N.A., came out the following year. Since then, they have been quite successful.Thoughts
If you are looking for something a little different from AKG, then definitely try Janne da Arc. Janne da Arc’s music tends to have a driving beat that is very upbeat. The melodies they use tend to leave you humming along and have you tapping your foot to the beat. If you are looking for some light rock then try Feel the Wind, Blue Tear, and Eden for starters. If you want something more hard rock, then try Freedom. I really like Janne da Arc. I am never disappointed when I try their stuff. Their songs have great melodies and Yasu has a great voice. It is no wonder that they are so successful. Janne da Arc has only been commercially releasing products for 5 years, and they already have 7 albums!akfgfan
