Artist: KayaOuka - Hyakkirappuhen is the remix of the first track from his previous release, Ouka Ryouran. When I first heard this song I found it somewhat dull compare to the original version. In fact, I would consider the original, with a harder beat, as the mix of this one. I truly found it to be a bit inferior to the original, and perhaps the only low rated song of the album. Still, Kayas voice is quite serene, and combined with Kalms music, makes it a wonderful song about spring.
Kagami Oni gives us such a dark feeling with its hard and aggressive beats. Amazing song, to see Kaya performer this one live would give me such a sense of accomplishment. If you close your eyes while listening to it, you can feel it just how this great dark song gives such a amazing feeling of pleasure.
The first thing I will say about Hannya is, this song just scream out "Japan!". It begins with a with a tradition japanese music, implementing instruments such as the shamisen, and later the Koto. Its a beautiful song, with a dark theme that can overcome the listener with every intention of saddest.
I found the beginning to kugutsu to be a bit strange at first, but it completely captivated me as the song went on. Its pure madding beauty, with its dark lyrics, that gives such an orgasmic feeling to the listener.
In Kasha, Kayas voice morphs from deep and sad from the other songs, to high and happy. Kasha is suppose to be a mischievous demon monster who steals corpses during a funeral, and Kaya actually created this amazing song about him. The song is aggressive, happy, with well though out dark lyrics, not to mention really high energy. Incredible.
Since his time in Schwarz Stein, his voice has captivated many, and has not let us down one bit. This is a great Cd which is sure to please any Kaya, Schwarz Stein fan, or if youre simple into dark wave and techno music. Highly recommended.
