Once the band 7#34No Rest For the Dead" broke up, a grindcore/alternative rock band, two of the members: dead k and A decided to pursue another musical career. So, "Cliff 14" was formed. Presumeably, dead k recorded all their earlier works in his bedroom. He wanted to change into an Indies rock band, so he drew up some plans for "Green Milk From the Planet Orange". Here he recorded "Switch On" and made a demo of just that one song. dead k and A talked about another band, and since Cliff 14 had come to a deadlock, they figured it was a good idea to try again. So, they had a jam session with the current bassist, T, but it didn’t go well.Regardlessly, Green Milk From the Planet Orange was formed. dead k’s schoolmate, benjian, joined as a bassist for a jam session and this time it went spectacular. So, now with their line-up, GMFTPO steps up to the stage. Early on, they were into jam sessions and compositions, and their musical style was space rock and jazz, and even jazz rock. Which in itself was rather progressive, but even still...
They played their first gig in September of ... some year. This performance, which included new songs, was well spoken among English and American zines and magazines. They released "Birth of the Neo Trip" in October 2002 and once again was nationally accepted. Problems ensued and benjian changed with T as the bassist. Later, they went to America to record an album. The work wasn’t finished for some reason, so they tried to finish it on their own.
At the beginning of 2004, they became rather active once again and played a show with Melt Banana, Damo Suzuki’s Network, Misennenmondai, Function, and others. Their full-length CD "He’s Crying ’Look’ " was released under the Beta-lactam label.
In March 2005, the band went to New York to record their new album with Paul Mahajan. The songs on this new album because the first "new wave of progressive rock". In September, the label company Lift got the license to release their cd in Japan. The band is now preparing for a tour in the US in October and November. They hope to tell people that "progressive rock is not dead"!

My Thoughts
This band is VERY interesting, but I must admit when I first heard them, I thought it wasn’t good. But, after listening to it again, they have a lot of talent and ideas and it does make good music if you listen to it with an open mind. Not even Ephel Duath can hold a candle to the avant-garde style these guys play. Anyway, the vocals are rather noise-ish, like Melt Banana, and the drums are very punk, but most of their music is a huge guitar solo. A very progressive one at that. Many of their music is insanely long, ranging from 11 to 17 minutes, to even 22 minutes. They’re very unique, and I love unique bands.NickBlaze
