Formed in 2006, GReeeeN is a vocal group comprising of HIDE, SOH, 92 and navi, with sound production done by HIDE’s brother JIN. The band have yet to show their faces for any promotional photos or PVs as they are all still students and want to complete their studies before revealing their identities. The band released various independant singles, including "LIPS", but it was not until they were managed by Edward Limited that their real musical activities began.

The band’s first majors single, "Michi", was released in January 2007, and this was followed by "HIGH G.K LOW" in March and "Ai Uta" in May. Their first album then came in June 2007, and included the previously released tracks "Ai Uta", "HIGH G.K LOW" and "Michi". The next release by the band, the single "Hito", is due to be released in November 2007.

Thoughts

GreeeeN is an okay band. They have a few catchy songs, but overall the vocals are mediocre and melodies are quite simple. I prefer Orange Range over GreeeeN.
