goatbed is the moniker of the solo artist Shuji Ishii, the former vocalist of cali�‚gari. However, he has changed dramatically in musical style since starting this project in 2004, switching over from the visual kei style of his previous band to a more synthpop/new wave type of music.

Thoughts

goatbed brings together a strange mixture of techno music and vocals into their songs. It seems like a strange concept, but it actually is not too bad. With any other background music, the vocals would not sound as good. Definitely check them out if you are looking for something new to listen to.
