First off, Ghoul is completely overshadowed by the American band Ghoul (which, just so happens to be completely awesome). There are also quite a few other bands by this name as well all over the world. In fact, I went searching for this band but only came up with an American band’s music! Not saying I was disappointed too much. Ghoul "formed" in the year 2000. Considering it’s a one-man band project, one of many by this man apparently, I can’t truly say it was formed, but more announced. So far, only two demos have been released, but a slip-cd compilation was released in 2002. One demo was released in 2001 and one in 2003. It didn’t really recieve well.

The Maelstrom 666 compilation CD, which appeared by "Bloodless Children" in 2002 was seemingly limited to 66 copies, under Sabbathid Records. Some kind of strange joke, I believe. Even stranger... the one-man band has his contact information:

Thoughts

I don't expect any of you to really appreciate death metal the way I and thousands of other metalheads do... but Ghoul is a really good band, although they pale a little in comparison to the American Ghoul band. Why am I referring to the Japanese Ghoul as "they" when it's a one-man project? Anyway, it has harsh vocals. Don't expect Concerto Moon... at all...
