Profile
Formed in my birth year of 1987, only three months after my birth in July, Gargoyle makes me proud to have been born in this year.
They formed in Osaka, and some familar members (SheJa Katsuji, for one) of other bands first joined in this band. In 1989 they released their first album and each year after that another album. Their first albums were much more geared towards heavy metal than anything, and they were recieved well. They truly got their publicity when they opened for Loudness, which was actually a dream of Kiba.
Soon after their 4th album is released, G. Kentaro and Yotarou join after SheJa quit in 1993. They went on tour for a year and released a few videos and a compilation CD, but the true benefit from their tour was their new musical influences. In 1997, they released a single called "Satori" which was highly influenced by Flower Travellin Band. This gave them a new outlook on metal and they developed a much more thrash feel, although still fueled by heavy metal as their primary inspiration. The band is still around today and is currently on tour.

My Thoughts
To me, they have a real manly 80s metal sound, unlike Loudness who, although Minoru has a good voice, its far too high.
