This band is composed of three female members. While that may not be all that strange, they’re a doom metal band with harsh vocals. It’s typical of the Japanese to have female harsh vocals, really, since Jurassic Jade before them have a heavy influence.This band formed in 2003 in which a few months later they released their first demo. A month after that, another demo, self titled, was released. It wasn’t until November of 2004 that their first album "Gloomy Lights" was released, and it recieved huge success to fans of Rose Rose, Shellshock, and of course Jurassic Jade. Overall, they’ve been producing strong albums and live performances that doom metal fans can’t deny.

Thoughts
Gallhammer is an okay doom metal band. The vocals are pretty intense and their music has basic metal melodies. Their music isn’t as complicated as other metal bands, making the focus of their music more on the vocals.Click to read/add your opinion!
