Funky Monkey Babys was formed by DJ Chemical, Funky Katou, and Mon Yoshi on New Year's Day, 2004. Soon after they formed, a French promotor saw a performance by them. The promoter invited them to come to France to perform live over two days in May 2004.The following year, Funky Monkey Babys participated in the compilation cd "Joy Ride" by DJ Kohno and DJ Tatsuta. They also distributed some demo tapes to a radio station. In late 2005, the band recieved a major contract with record company id ENTERTAINMENT co. They made their debut with the single "Sonomanma Higashi He".

Thoughts
Funky Monkey Babys are awesome! Their songs are fun and exciting to listen to. I enjoy the mixture of singing and rapping in their music. In my opinion they are a fresh, upgraded version of Orange Range. Definitely check this band out!Click to read/add your opinion!
