Fine Lines formed in June, 2003 with two members: Kazuya Hirabayashi and George Kurosawa. The following year, Yutaka Katayama and Tetsuya Kudo also joined. Things didn’t really start moving for the band until 2005, when Husking Bee disbanded. Kazuya and Tetsuya had been members of Husking Bee, so once the band had disbanded, they had much more time to concentrate on their efforts with Fine Lines.Late in 2005, the band released their debut single "Small Red Light" and a split single titled "Small Happiness" with the band, Corner.
On March 21, 2007, their first album "substratosphere" was released.

Thoughts
Fine Lines is off to a great start. Their music ranges from upbeat pop/rock songs to pop ballads. Some anime fans will find the vocalist to sound awefully familiar. It turns out that Kazuya was one of the major voice actors in the anime "Beck". If you loved the music featured in that series, then you will love Fine Lines even more!Click to read/add your opinion!
