Eric Zay, has been working with various artists in Japan for several rock bands since his return to Japan from Boston in 1989. As a drummer, Eric has played for SPAED with Yamashita Masayoshi from Loudness and Hirose Satoshi from 44Magnum, Char, SHOGUN (a legendary, million selling band) and Roger McQuinn during his Japan tour. Eric also recorded and toured with (Lunasea's guitarist) Sugizo and his band Spank Your Juice when they're doing big halls. But when he does his acoustic shows, you'll find Eric on stage on acoustic guitar and vocals. Eric has also recorded and toured with Monoral and is currently recording and touring with FAKE? as a guitarist. With Peace Force, a truly cult phenomenon, led by Sasaki Jun from Cosa Nostra, Eric was the lead singer and lyricist. Peace Force is one of the original trance, hip hip groups in Japan.He has released over a dozen CD's over the past 15 years in Japan and is now going at it on his own while producing, arranging, writing and performing with other artists in Japan. Eric is now touring nationwide in a powerfully "trippy" trio under the name "Bloom UnderGround". Eric is also a very well known writer/producer for a number of artists and TV dramas as well as animation soundtracks. His major jingle cliets include Shiseido, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, DOCOMO, and KDDi.
