Rock band Dustar-3 was formed in 2004 by ex-SEX MACHINEGUNS members NOISY and HIMAWARI and ex-ĩucifer member YUKI after the three of them had seperately played in various session bands. To date they have released two full albums, eight mini-albums, and three DVDs through HEAT SEEKER Records. In addition to their many releases, Dustar-3 have also toured in Japan, and played their first one man live at Shibuya O-East on December 30th 2006. In 2007 the band also performed a 20 date tour of Japan.

Thoughts

In terms of melody, Dustar-3 has some very decent songs; however, their vocalist really turns me off. He has an incredible annoying voice and seems to be quite full of himself at live performances. I dislike divas, especially when they bring down the quality of the band’s music.
