
In June of 1994, the band held their sold-out debut live "Drive to Revolution" at the Shibuya Public Hall. In July they released their debut album "DIRTY TRASHROAD" and a mini-album "DIRTY TRASHROAD ~ACOUSTIC~" simultaneously. They then set off on a nationwide tour "DRIVE TO REVOLUTION" from August to September, after which they released a live VHS and an art book in November and December, respectively. At this point drummer Toshihiko decided to leave.
Without a new drummer, D.T.R. participated in the Kobe charity concert "ROCK ON KOBE" in March 1995. In May they began a new tour, "CLUB HOUSE GIGS TOUR 1995" and simultaneously released their second album "DARING TRIBAL ROAR" with their first single "CHAIN[KIZUNA]/I BELIEVEc" In July keyboardist Shimizu Ken joined the band as an official member.
Dirty Trashroad released their final album "DRIVE TO REVOLUTION", a compilation of remixes and lives of their songs, in August of 1996. Vocalist Takeuchi also announced that he was leaving the band, and D.T.R. ended all activity.
After the band breakup, Takeuchi joined HOT ROD CRUE. Fujimoto joined The Dead Pop Stars and Otokaze. TAIJI went on to form Cloud Nine, joined Otokaze, and is working on a side project, GEN&TAIJI, with Gentaro of Otokaze.
In July 2006 D.T.R. restarted activities, opening an official website and online store. The band was also featured in the magazine Rockin in December.
