Doping Panda formed in 1997. Their music has a digital guitar rock sound and they made a good impact on the indie scene with their powerful performances. THey got their name out by participating in a Disney cover song compilation entitled "Dive into Disney". They participated in future Disney cover albums too. Their 2004 indies release, "We in Music", did well in the indies charts. They then signed to a major label and debuted with the mini-album "High Fidelity" in spring of 2005. That summer they played at many rock festivals like the Summer Sonic and Rock in Japan fest. They release the mini-album "High Pressure" later that year and conducted a 4 month tour for it. They released the hybrid rock dance tune "Miracle" in the beginning of 2006 and came up with their album "Dandyism" in the spring of 2006, which is getting much attention from their Japanese fans.Hideta
Thoughts
