Born in Tokyo in 1974. He was influenced by the hip-hop beat of Def jam, Native Tounges and others in his junior high school years. That was also when bought his first mixer and turntable. When he was 18, Tasaka tried it as a club DJ. He is then discovers techno dance music and in the blink of an eye changes his music to the beat of techno.Shortly thereafter in 1998, Tasaka meets Takkyu Ishino in a record shop where he has worked. He then gives Ishino a tape of his own mix, and Ishino likes what he hears, which opens the door to his becoming a resident DJ. With his outstanding 'scratch' skills which he mastered during his "hip-hop era", Tasaka's is considered to be superior to that of any normal techno DJ, mixing all kinds of genres he gets his hands on. Tasaka's unique style of playing has an established reputation and he has made a name for himself as the new generation of Japanese techno DJs.
Since 1998, Tasaka has been active in Tokyo's key club scene by launching his own parties those of which include "DISCO TWINS", "DAEN","TROOP" and "D-Park". In 99, Tasaka joins as a turn-tablelist for Denki Groove's live performance. Which then led to a part in Denki Groove's "VOXXX" album. He produced three tracks on the album with Takkyu Ishino.
In 2000, Tasaka joins Denki Groove's nationwide tour after returning from a Euro Tour. At "WIRE00, supported by HONDA" at Yokohama Arena on September 2, not only does Tasaka play the role of Denki Groove band-member at the but he also participates as a DJ for the first time.
Since then, Tasaka released his first DJ MIX CD "LOOPA MIX mixed by DJ Tasaka", and played at "MAYDAY", Europe's biggest indoor rave party. Keep your eye out for a 12 single.

If you're looking for some awesome clubbing music, then look no further. DJ Tasaka's music is crazy, bass driven, and addicting to listen to. He mixes the music and rhythm really well. Some of my favorite songs include Speaker Typhoon and Let me! Enjoy :)akfgfan
