Profile

Born in 1973, Miura Hirofumi, (aka DJ Miura / SAMURAI) plays a mixture of electronica, minimal techno, dab, acoustic and jazz amongst other things, and was active around Sendai City in Miyagi.

He started DJing in 1990, playing as part of the "LIFEFORM" group, along with DJ KONNO JUN and ITOH TAKAAKI, at various clubs. He then went onto found the "LOGIC" ug-techno party at Club Squall, the website for which, he still runs. He also played at "WIPE" at club blueblue and "SERVICE" at dj bar GOA.

He’s currently on a pause from activities and is concentrating on spending time with his family and experimenting with music by the use of his computer.

Thoughts

I'm not really a fan of DJ Miura’s works. His works are very simplistic and boring. They just seem to lack creativity and ingenuity.
