Khimaira began his ascension in the Japanese goth/industrial scene around 2002 when he was the DJ for what some have deemed "Tokyo’s most popular and biggest gothic/industrial party":TOKYO GOTH AND DARKWAVE.

As his popularity grew, locally, at locations such as CYBERAGE VOODOO and DANSE MACABRE, he became almost legendary. Since then, he has also Guest DJ-ed with many other popular goth groups.

Recently, he has orginzed his own CLUB INFERNO, but he is not stopping there. Next step is overseas.

My Thoughts

DJ Khimaira is quite talented. His mixes have a good beat, and make you want to dance along. Be warned though that these are not mixes of typical pop songs. Many of the songs he chooses have a dark aura and harsh vocals. I think fans of visual kei, gothic music, and metal music will be pleased with his work.
