Profile

DBSG or TVXQ in Chinese, is a new Korean pop group. The group first formed when they all auditioned during their high school years. When they auditioned, the name had already been chosen and all five members were placed into a different group at first. The band’s name means "Gods Rising From the East".

The first single this kpop group released was "Hug", in January 14th, 2004. Ever since that day, they have been growing and putting out hit after hit. The group won best artist at the 2005 Korean Music Awards.

So far the band has debuted in Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan. After experiencing much success in China, they though about adding a Chinese member, but it never happened for various reasons. They have worked with other artists like BoA and TRAX.

My Thoughts

Their music just keeps getting better. Ranging from RnB to hip hop, to pop, to rock...They can pull off a lot of different styles.
