Cancion is a duo consisting of Furuya Satoshi and Shigemoto Minoru. The group’s name is derived from the Spanish word "Cancion" which, translated into English, is "song".Formed in their high school years (October 1999), the two decided to team up and perform at their school’s cultural festival. According to their official site, it was Shigemoto who intiated Furuya and while at that time they did not decide on a name, that was when Cancion was born.
For the next four years, they performed at lives, citing their greatest one to be "Club Phase" in which it ended in tremendous cheer and a full house. Since then they debuted August 4th enjoying much success.
As of September 9th, 2006, the group has decided to go on a hiatus.

Thoughts
Cancion is a good band. The duo has created mostly soft pop and ballad songs, which suit their vocals quite well. Their songs are very nice, but nothing too extroidinaryClick to read/add your opinion!
