B’z is a two member rock group that has been around since 1989. Originally, Tak was part of the band TMN and Kohshi was a mathematics teacher. The two met at a talent show, and began to work together in 1988. In 1989, their first single was #1 on the charts. Since then, the two have been incredibly successful, selling over 80 million albums! In fact, their album Green sold over 1 million copies in its first week! The two also have their own solo careers as well.

My Thoughts

Wow, I just checked out their single Arigatou and it is amazing! I always assumed B’z was some punk group from their name, but man, I was totally shocked at how good their music is. And this is after playing for over a decade too! Bz has some great rock songs that are not too over the top, they are just right! The song Mou Hanasanai really struck me! The beat was awesome, rhythm unbelievable, and the singing is great! Kohshi has a very good voice, and Tak can do unbelievable guitar riffs. I have only listened to one single so far, but I am already in love with this group! Two thumbs up all the way.
