Profile

Bonobos hails from Osaka and formed in 2001 after Sai Chunho and 2 of his friends came together. They played their first live show almost a year later. They released a demo around that time and was a hit with college radio stations all over Western Japan. In 2003 they signed to Galactic Records and released their demo tapes onto two albums. They signed onto Dreamusic and made their major debut by releasing two singles and their first album Hover Hover. They’ve released two more albums and plenty of more singles.

Thoughts

Bonobos is a great reggae/dub band. When your feeling blue, they can cheer you up easily. The vocals are amazing and give the music a very happy and comforting feel. I recommend the track "Thank You For The Music". Overall, this is a wonderful band that you need to check out.
