B-Dash formed in 1997 in Tokyo, Japan. They began to release singles in 1999. They also released their first mini-album, Freedom, that year and received great reviews. They ended up selling over 25,000 copies! In 2002 they then held their first nationwide tour in Japan and played for 10,000 fans.

My Thoughts

B-Dash is not too bad. They kinda do a cross of rock and ska music. It also seems that they have some affiliation with nintendo games cause their whole website is designed like those Mario Bros games. B-Dash’s style is pretty similar to AKG. The major difference that I have noticed though is that B-Dash has less emphasis on the guitars and more on the vocals. I think it would help if they had more background accompaniment, but overall they seem pretty good.
