Profile

Created in 2004. Their lead singer is the former vocalist of Mask. All the other members are from a band called Hinawana. Ayabie takes on a lighter aspect of Visual Kei, with (in my opinion) very Kuroyume-esque vocals. In late 2004, Ayabie performed with the popular band Alice Nine!

On March 21st 2005, Ayabie released their debut album Ayabie Sokukan Ongenshuu. It also came with a bonus dvd with a couple of their PVs. Another interesting fact: Even though Ayabie has been together for only a short amount of time, they’ve released a massive amount of work!

This band personally reminds me of many of the better ‘90s Visual Kei bands. These guys are definitely a band to keep an eye on!

My Thoughts

Ayabie is a great visual kei band! Their music is quite good for a vk band. Aoi has that typical vk style voice too which completes the package. In many ways Ayabie reminds me of what a more modern Kagrra, would be like.
