Profile

asphalt frustration was formed by vocalist in the winter of 2003 and started activity in Chiba. After they formed their program "We dance with you" was regularly held in Chiba night clubs. THey first participated in a Lastrum compilation CD called "rocker’s galore". Their first CD, "asphalt frustration", was released and ranked 33 in the nation’s indie charts. They gained a good fan base in the indie scene and played with bands like Unchain, the chef cooks me, and riddim saunter. Their unique blend of pop, dance music, soul, and electronics gained them some good publicity.

Their latest album, "Ni", had a combination of a mix engineer from the bands Love Psychedelico and def tech, and the total producer of Domino88. Member’s of Plus-tech squeeze box and strauss also participated as main mix engineer’s.

Thoughts

Asphalt Frustration is okay. Their rock songs are great. They also have some funky ones though that sound like they are from the 70’s. Its a bit too dated for me, but if you enjoy psychedelic sound effects then you’ll enjoy songs like Like Snow.
