Asaki is a composer widely known for his contributions to the music game series "guitar freaks" and "drummania". Asaki started as a vocalist for a Visual Indie band called "Blanc Neige". Not much is known on his career in this band. Blanc neige relaesed one single: Snow White.
Asaki Later became a composer for Konami. His talents include guitar, bass and vocals on all of his songs. He debuted with the song Sanagi in Guitar Freaks 7th mix and Drummania 6th mix. Asaki also composed songs for Popn Music games and often makes contributions to them as well as guitar freaks and drummania. Asaki released an album, entitled shinkyoku, on konamis music label on september 16 after some months of delays on the release. Since then he has been contributing to the latest konami releases of drummania, guitar freaks, and popn music.
Besides his own songs, Asaki provides support for many artist, supplying his guitar talents and composing. He has played guitar for songs such as plastic umbrella, and songs by pink capsule: a cutesy girl pop/rock act on Konami. Asak has all provided the covers to well known visual songs to be featured on guitar freaks and drummania such as "Beams" by Kuroyume and "Romance" from Penicillin.
His songs remain a challenge on the games he provides them for. Asaki also has a large fan base(Konami Artist generally release albums only if the group has a large enough fan base) and a few fan sites scattered on the web. Asaki also is very mysterious, never showing a picture of himself. He has used numerous avatars to depict himself in interviews etc.

Thoughts
I dont normally listen to visual kei, but Asaki is one I have to be exempted from. Asakis guitar/bass/vocal talents really shines in his music. His songs are dark and have a visual feel to them most of the time. His amazing string talent, very powerful vocals, and an excellent drummer for support make Asaki a very nice artist to listen too. His songs are always good in my opinion and he has some interesting songs such as the classy and more jazzy "akai suzu". If you are interested in visual music, it is a good idea to give asaki a try.
