Ares was formed in January 2001. Their first mini-album "Machine Ares" wasn’t released though until September, 2003. This mini-album was a bit hit for Ares and really boosted their popularity. They then released their first album in July 2005!

Thoughts

Ares is a very unique metal band. Although their main genre is metal, they also incorporate hip hop, rap, and industrial tunes into their music. It gives their music a unique feel and sets them apart from other metal bands. They have some really good songs like "Machine Ares" and "MaMa".
