Antique Cafe, also called AnCafe by the fans and sometimes referred to as Antic Cafe, is a 4 person visual kei band which has not yet signed with a label. Formed in 2003, the group’s music is said to have some metal, rock, and punk in it.

Their debut was with a demotape and fans consider their "breakthrough" to be with their second single (Candy Holic).

On April 30th, 2007, their guitarist Bou left the band and in May was replaced by guitarist Takuya. They also became a five member band rather than four when they also announced their newest addition, keyboardist Yuuki.

My Thoughts

When I first listened to Antique Cafe, Psycho le Cemu popped into my head. The two bands are very similar in style and music. I think the one major difference is the vocalist for Antique Cafe. He has a very unique, jazzy voice that livens up the music. This is a fun band to listen to. I definitely recommend them.
