Angela Aki is a Japanese singer and songwriter who was born in Tokushima Prefecture, Shikoku, on September 15, 1977. Her father is Japanese while her mother is an Italian-American. She graduated from George Washington University and majored in politics and music. In the year 2000, she released an album in the US titled, "These Words". Five years later under Virgo Music, she released a mini-album titled, "One", in Japan which got her signed under Sony Japan. In the same year, she sang the theme song of Final Fantasy XII titled, "Kiss Me Good-bye".
She was signed under Tofu Records in May 2006 and released several English singles and albums. "Kiss Me Good-bye" was released in the US as a digital single. On May 27, 2006 in Chicago, she performed the song at PLAY! A Video Game Symphony concert.

Angela Aki is off to a great start. She has been very successful and there is no wonder why. She is a very talented singer and her songs are beautiful. I definitely suggest her :)
