Amplified Vocal/Guitar: Chris Edwards Vocal/Bass: Terrence Ma Drums: Kai-Yuan Neo Started: 2003 Status: Active ProfileAmplified was first formed at a international school in Hong Kong, when each of the members were only thirteen years old. Shortly after the band’s formation, Amplified began to record songs onto demo tapes. In the summer of 2005, Sony Music hosted an international audition through the internet. Amplified entered the audition and sent Sony Music some songs (including "Mr. RAINDROP" and "Back Together"). Over a thousand applicants applied, and Amplified was choosen!The band debuted with the single "Mr. RAINDROP", which had been used for their audition tape. Only a month later, their first album "Turn It Up!" was released.
Currently the band is planning to release their second album near the beginning of summer 2007. akfgfan ThoughtsAmplified is incredible! Their music has a great pop rock feel that will be well liked by audiences all around the world. One thing I find unique is that they always sing in English. Many bands have a hard time gaining a big Japanese audience when they use all English lyrics.
