Akiko Hamada was one of the original founders of the band Go!Go!7188. In 2003, she began to also pursue a solo career. Her debut album was titled "Kirari". On November 2, 2005 she released a second album titled "Aruyou de naiyou de, arumono". She has performed a few lives, but spends most of her time with Go!Go!Go!7188.

Thoughts

I enjoyed listening to Akiko Hamada a lot. She reminds me a lot of bands like Kiroro. When you listen to her music, you can tell that it is influenced by folk and country music. It has a homely, calm, and relaxing feel to it. Her voice is pretty good too!
