Ain Soph

ain soph

  Started: Early 1984
  Status: Disbanded

Profile

Ain Soph, formed in 1984, was loosely based on the similar style and concepts of another band, Current 93. Their music eventually evolved from that to current forms of rock and are dubbed "a touchstone for the post-industrial scene". To try and put Ain Soph into one genre may be impossible. It just depends on the time period the band's music is coming from.

As one of the more controversial bands, their music is said to have lyrics about the military, society, and other Italian implications.

Their sound was not the only thing that evolved becuase many of their old songs can be found on cassette tapes but they have since released 11 cds.

My Thoughts

Ain Soph is definitely not my cup of tea. They are like the 1920’s meet rock and roll. Can’t imagine it? I couldn’t either until I listened to them. Strange music and poor vocals.
